This blog is a way to introduce EVS and Erasmus + progam through articles about our experience as EVS volunteers, general information and descriptions.
What is the EVS program ?
European Voluntary Service is a program financed by the European Union to give young people in Europe an opportunity to travel and experience another country by being a volunteer. The volunteer becomes a part of an organization which can deal with different topics such as health, youth, leisure, art, media, disabilities etc. It is a different way to get to know a new culture, a new language and learn about yourself.What is our project at Ungdom og Fritid about ?
The four of us are working in youth clubs. The youth clubs are spread over the city of Stavanger and each of us has his own workplace. In the youth clubs the kids can play games, make music and art, or they can just come to hang out with their friends. We are trying to support the staff by being there for the kids and doing activities with them.
