We - Andràs, Charlotte, Jose, Léa - are four volunteers from different countries of Europe and we are doing a year of European Voluntary Service. With this blog we would like to share our experience, daily life and travelling with you. We will update this blog with articles and pictures to keep you informed.

Why EVS: I finished school this summer and I wanted to experience something different. I hope that I will have a great time full of new impressions and, learn about Norwegian culture and language and also about myself.

Special: smallest resident of Norway, takes great pictures
What did you do before: I have a bachelor in human sciences specialized teaching in culture and media. It means that I had courses about the theory of communication, culture, art... After that I did one year of master degree in digital arts (video, photo, 3D, computer programs, code langage..). I did 2 internships : the first one as a journalist in photographic press and the second one as a photographer for an advetising company.
Why EVS: I travelled a lot in Nordic countries with the interrail pass during my last summers and I wanted to know how looks like the life there. I liked especially the landscapes. I wanted to know the culture and the language through a concrete project and I thought that the EVS was the best way to do it.

What did you do before:
I am Social Worker, degree in the University of Granada.
I worked in Spain, as Medical social worker, Organizator of youth activities and summer camps, Professional Speaker in the First Semminar in Social Work and Immigration,
I had courses and cetificates about management of European projects, Social Work, and languages.
Why EVS:
I decided to take this challenge because Norway in special, but all the scandinavian countries are the leaders in the welfare system, for this reason was really atractive this country.
My knowledge and myself can be improved in this project, and EVS give me this chance.

What did you do before: I studied media and communication and also a bit catering. After I got my degree I worked as a
- sport reporter at the Hungarian National Television,
- supervisor of the catering at the biggest hungarian festivals,
and in the last year before my EVS program started, I organised sport competitions and coaching development courses for international students!
Why EVS; I always like the Scandinavian culture, the people and the way of thinking but I`ve never been to Norway so I wanted some new adventures!
I`ve started to learn the language at Hungary but it`s easier to learn if you live with locals!
